Email to the esteemed Bill Vallicella

Two weeks ago, Bill was wondering about the importance of history, and how he currently believes in its pointlessness, that it is merely a resource of exemplary lives and can not be used in anything more, especially in philosophy. Unable to resist, I e-mailed him. I was biting my nails of course, since my grasp of grammar and coherence is shameful, while his is excellent. It’s also my first time to ever say anything to anyone, so, as you would see below, I approached cautiously. Anyway, here’s the letter.
